Pinpoint
Pinpoint is the historic first recording of Hot Cup artists Moppa Ellliott, Peter Evans, and Charles Evans (no relation). Recorded at the Oberlin Conservatory, and featuring Elliott's compositions and arrangements, this album provides a window into the early development of these three Hot Cup stars. The music is more harmonically driven than that of MOPDtK partly due to the strong presence of Allan Baker on Piano. Also appearing is tenor saxophonist, Kelly Roberge, current member of Boston's Quartet of Happiness and Ronald Reagan.
