PGSA

PGSA is a live trio performance captured at the now defunct Pennslyvania Governor's School for the Arts in Erie, PA.  This program, which initiated the career of bassist, Moppa Elliott, was a utopian summer program for Pennsylvania high school students.  Through this program, Elliott met artist Nathan Kuruna, and decided to pursue music with his childhood friend, Charles Evans.  The trio set recorded here features trumpeter Peter Evans and alto saxophonist Dave Reminick, both collaborators with Elliott from his time at the Oberlin Conservatory performing a series of free improvisations in solo, duo and trio configurations.
